Toefur’s Titans, FIRST Robotics Competition Team 9462, was created to give students the opportunity to dream big, solve complex engineering challenges, and discover what they can accomplish when they work together. As part of the Tulsa Robotics Center, the team brings together young people from diverse backgrounds to design, build, and program a 120-pound competition robot while developing skills in mechanical design, programming, CAD, electrical systems, project management, marketing, and leadership. Every season challenges students to think creatively, persevere through setbacks, and transform innovative ideas into a robot capable of competing on a national stage.

Although still a young team, Toefur’s Titans has already made a lasting impact through its competitive success and commitment to the values of FIRST. The team’s strong rookie season earned recognition with the Rookie All-Star Award and a trip to the FIRST Championship, demonstrating that dedication, collaboration, and Gracious Professionalism can produce extraordinary results. Beyond trophies and awards, Toefur’s Titans is building something even more important—a community where students gain confidence, inspire one another, and prepare for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while making a positive impact throughout the Tulsa community.
